By car
Take the highway direct from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Geneva to Grenoble.
At Grenoble take the A480. Leave the A480 at exit No. 8 "Gap, Briançon, Vizille, Stations de l'Oisans".
You are then on the RN 91 towards Briançon.
Once in Vizille, exit towards Laffrey and join the "Route Napoléon" (D1085).
Pass through La Mure and turn left onto the D526.
You are now 13 Kms from the village of Valbonnais.
After the sign for Valbonnais, continue 700 meters to a traffic light (the only one in the valley), which is 200 meters before the church.
At this light, on your right, in addition to the sign reading "gîtes rural", you will see two large lime trees framing a porch indicating that you've arrived.
Transport network
The train to Grenoble and bus service can reach Valbonnais.
Specific information for bus can be found at: www.transisere.fr (tel: 08 200 83 838).
But take the bus 4120 towards Valbonnais (attention line Valbonnais is called Chantelouve-La Mure on the website).
There are also departures from Grenoble to La Mure with bus 4100 (via Laffrey) or bus 4110 (via La Motte d'Aveillan).
Get off at "Gare" and you are the entrance of the village of Valbonnais.
